Well, I’ve heard some black activists say that the history of police brutality makes the community distrust law enforcement.
But how often do we hear of ghetto shootings, and police arrive, and there are no witnesses, nobody saw anything, nobody knows what went down. It’s a sad cycle of violence in which nobody gets punished for anything.
I know an emergency room doc at our local trauma center.
He says the first phrase from every conscious shooting victim is “I got no idea who shot me”.
its true. here in our town, the polio are respited and work hand in hand with the “community”. there is little crime, and no violence at all of the type in the indy article.
had a couple break ins at the house over the last 12 years. cops were here and nailed the bad guys in under a minute.
I’m a jazz afficionado. I was invited to a very liberal Presbyterian church once where the congregation sang this...minus the “Um Allah”...my jaw hit the floor.

Rev. Harrison has been quite outspoken about the lack of proper parenting as the main reason for the violence. He has no problem calling out black parents for not being parents. On that point he’s right.
