Me too. THey just broke away from BElarus (White Russia)
All I can think of is this:
I did miss the Greeks, had to feed my cats but I’ll check the tape (I’m taping this on VHS)
I seem to recall Vancouver couldn’t even get their flame lit.
Brian Williams just said, “Let me get this out of the way, as Armenia is walking out, a lot of these athletes know they r not going to win a medal, they r just here for the experience”. All of the NBC Anchors are true idiots!! Okay, I am done ranting....I will try to not let them ruin it for me. Maybe I should turn sound back off....LOL!!!
Well, OT, my 1985 microwave died so I replaced with my grandmothers who we stored away after she passed. It is almost new, made in 1987. B-) BTW, I’m still using VHS to tape this.
I know what you mean, but just a point...we don’t have majority rule.
Used to be one of the great things about this country.
But I understand the sentiment.
I wonder how long until Jesse and Al start complaining about the lack of black athletes at the Winter Games.
My set is so old, it says “ZEnith Radio Corp” on the back, made in Chicago.
I’m a Cold War Kid myself.
Thought we heard one commentator say something about “flashcubes” in the arena, LOL!
I remember flashcubes, my grandmother had a camera that used them
The lyrics were written by Sergei Mikhailov, who also wrote the Soviet national anthem.
Music is by Alexander Alexandrov, who is deservedly famous as the moving spirit behind the world famous A.V Alexandrov Twice Red Bannered Russian Army Ensemble.
The past and present continue on in Russia. It was the leading republic of the Soviet Union and gained sovereignty in 1990.
I remember using them myself. Please don’t tell me I’m old enough to be your grandma! ;-)
The UK, I miss Eddie Eagle.
The dang Bermudans are wearing shorts. I don’t think they understand the premise of these games.
I think the guy from Venezuela is just happy to be out of there.
I’m just afraid that one of our athletes will decide to make a gay rights statement.
It’s 50 degrees in the stadium, it’s their tradition.
They said it was 50 degrees in there. Why so cold I wonder?
