Messerschmidt produced a three-wheeler right after WWII but it was more flimsy looking than this proposed design.

If your lawnmower has the same electric start system you've had in every car since the 1940's then the answer is yes. This is a real vehicle made to take the same abuse as any other car in real world driving.
This pic is of an earlier prototype but it illustrates very clearly that this is a REAL car , the comparison car is a cadillac CTS ...
