But he is not really a man so how can he qualify for “Man of the Year”? Why not elect Ellen DeGeneris as “Man of the Year”? After all she is more manly than Michael Sam.

I didn't know "GQ" stood for "Gays and Queers". So their "Man" of the year is someone who almost played NFL football? They must have pretty odd criteria.
