How would you have judged Lot, say, if he were your neighbor?Well; since his REAL neighbor's had a bit of a problem at the community cookout...
But most folks judge others according to prevailing standards.
Now; if we can get around to judging whether those STANDARDS are right; then we've come a long way.

It should have been common sense, or it wasn’t a widespread issue with the Israelites. Most of what got declared in Leviticus was a reiteration. You have to wonder why Judah’s daughter in law disguised herself to get to him. Why? Because it would have been taboo for him to know that it was his daughter in law.

But at least with the men; there'll be no KIDS for us taxpayers to eventually subsidize! There is same-sex adoption and I seem to recall even government assistance to help same sex couples with fertility and rent-a-womb/sperm donor situations.
