At first , things like this aren’t discussed at all - they are beyond the pale. Then they show up on the Jerry Springer Show. Then they show up on Ricky Lake. Then they show up on Oprah. Then it becomes legal in California. Then the courts declare it unconstitutional to prohibit it. Then Obama celebrates it in the White House.
