Life. Cops are citizens held to the same laws as the poor guy with the antlers. They are not a military occupying force.
Believed to have been taken in a West Side police station between 1999 and 2003, the Polaroid photo was given to the city by the feds in 2013
If they don't know in what year it was taken, how do they know the third guy was a "unidentified drug suspect?"
How did the feds come upon a polaroid photo of this? It's not like email that gets blasted to millions in a short time that anyone can get their hands on... polaroids are one of a kind.
That's Chicago for you... if you can't beat ,em, join ,em...?
The whole thing is silly
Not at all. Every time they would attempt to bring the subject up, I would attempt to change it to something else. I had no desire to talk about racism when I felt there were more serious problems in the world at the time.
Unfortunately, the subject would simply not go away.
Your post is nothing more than reeking of "racial sensitivity" and seeing color first.
It is an observation that I have known many people who see the world in exactly this way. If you get them off the topic of "racism" they are good people, but once they get into grievance mode, they are insufferable.
I saw the pic as three friends posing for a silly photo, perhaps a bit of brew in the mix having a great time, you see it as two white guys and a black, nuff said.
Obviously you have been spared much contact with the grievance mongers, but I suspect your experience is the outlier and mine is closer to the norm.
To sum up your response, I pick my friends.
