He was never going to be activated for a game though, he was never going to get actual playing time.

When I first saw these articles, I looked up about ten different sources..
Several of them noted from anonymous sources his performance was improving but was still lacking the drive to only make the cut to third on the depth chart...
I think he believed all the hype about him and thought he would have a walk in the park in the CFl and sat on his ass and expected a position...
My guess this is the end of his career...
My first thought....
The blood work from his team physical came back positive for HIV.
He didn’t want to leave his friend’s behind
in this case, probably more true than we may realize...
And now he's leaving the team altogether, for the same illness.
Tell me again how teams don't have any right to question their multi-million dollar investments about their off-field "activities".
