Anyone have cool weather?
Here in the most miserable place on the planet, it’s 117 with 92% humidity. We had a cold snap last week—got down to 106,but the dust was bad...
Next month here in South Texas, that will be our Low
Dewpoints in the mid to high 70s in New England until Wednesday. Yuck.
It’s beautiful here today near Indy. 82 with humidity around 60%, slight breeze. I’m taking an afternoon break, and sitting outside in the hammock as I type. I’m feeling pretty blessed to be enjoying the weather today.
80 and 64 % humidity in SE Wisconsin. Cool front coming will be mid 70s and @ 50% humidity after it passes
My wife and I were working at home when I noticed it looked like one of the five best days of the year. Perfect sunshine, temperature, breeze, few clouds. We took our daughter to the park and happened to run into friends. It really was one of the best days.
No cool weather here. It’s 98.0 on the patio and rising. Trying to fix a broken sprinkler pipe and I can only handle about 10 minutes outside at a time.
Southern Ohio; 90 degrees and 68% humidity. Like breathing through a wet towel.
But...beats the pants off -40 degree windchills...

Used to live in Sac. Hottest day was 112F. I was teaching a class with 40 people in a fairly small room and the AC broke.
Interesting day.
We don't. We just stay inside in the A/C. LOL! I've been outside VERY little the past week or so because it's been so hot and humid. Even brought the outside cats inside so they wouldn't suffer heat stroke. My vet's already seen a few poor little victims of that. :-(
I live in the Midwest where hot & humid is the norm for this time of year. When I look at the weather conditions in the summer, the first statistic I look at is the dew point. It drives how comfortable feel. Or not.
Anything under 60 degrees is wonderful. Anything over 70 degrees is steamy. If you ever get over 75 degrees and over 95 degrees air temp, stay in air conditioning.
But you could live in Ndjamena, Chad, where this time of year the air temp is frequently north of 100, and the dew point is 77 degrees or better.
They don’t have air conditioning.
This morning, it was 92 degrees and 96% humidity when I left for my hour's walk. Unless there is a good breeze and/or some shade, it is unbearable sometimes. Even then, it is hard to take. If an afternoon thunderstorm comes up or it gets cloudy and windy, then it can be tolerable.
I can work outside for maybe an hour before heading to the house to cool off. Then I don't want to go back outside. But there are many people who work outside here day after day all season. I don't know how they do it myself (I'm 67) but they do.
Can't wait for fall when both the heat and humidity numbers head down.
Dew point is really high here in Phoenix too. I think I heard it is in the high 60s. Pretty miserable. Monsoon season is not pleasant. Give me 115 and dry over this crap any day.
Take your pick, deal with your heat or deal with this.....
Here in SoCal, the weather has been warm, humid and rainy. One day closer to winter.
