I LOVE IT!!!!! My recent rides have been Expedition, Suburban(BEST EVER, drove it to Alaska), a flock of pickups and a handful of motorcycles.
The Prius manual is over an inch thick, all English, mostly computer stuff.
Not fast, about like a loaded pickup.
2,000 miles and averaging 50 MPG. The worse the traffic jam, the better the MPG! I think the MPG drops off over 65 mph.
Did I mention that I LOVE THE PRIUS!
My son bought one, loved it. I’ve driven it and it is very nice. He has since moved on to a Tesla which he loves even more. I haven’t gotten to drive it, though have driven in it. Also very nice.
I would have bought a previous-generation (not the new one that will arrive in the USA early in 2016) Toyota Prius Model II if it weren’t for the fact it cost US$25,000 “out the door” for one. It’s actually not a bad car, and the interior space is much more than anticipated for such a small car.
Be sure to put a fart can exhaust on it and a turbo sticker.
Welcome to the club of FR Heretics. I have a LEAF and love it.
We got one last year for the wife, she has a commute. It replaced her Pacifica and took a while for her to bond with it.
Now she loves the car.
I actually see a Prius in the next town with NRA Life Member and Marine Corps decals in the rear window. A real head turner.
I had a 2010 Prius that was provided to me as a company car. Nice car, never an issue other than a burned out headlight. As long as the trip was less than 100 miles it was fine. After that it killed by back and backside. Horrible seats. Nicest thing was once when interstate traffic ground to a halt for an hour I sat there in air conditioned comfort while those around me were overheating or standing outside their cars in 95 degree heat.
Too small for me, but there’s nothing wrong with good gas mileage.
I heard if you drive a Prius your dick gets smaller and your testicals shrink.
Is it true?
Just sayin'.
They are good cars.
Battery issues only in states with snow.
Cheaper to replace the batteries now, though the discarded batteries are worse pollution than gas engines ever were.
I just got rid of an Avalon Limited which has had unexpected electrical problems in it’s lifetime.
I enjoy a Lexus LS 460 which is basically an upgraded Toyota and we have a Honda Van for travel with luggage for more distant trips from the LA area to Vegas and such.
The 6 year old can NOT eat in the Lexus though. LOL
My other two cars got trashed by eating in the cars.
I don’t like eating in cars.
Turn in your man card.....
DON’T START THINKING ABOUT THE HAZARDOUS WASTE MATERIAL CALLED A BATTERY.
HUGE ENVIRONMENTAL WASTE WHEN THE TIME COMES TO REPLACE IT.
GASOLINE SAVED OFFSET BY BATTERIES COSTING NEARLY $2,000 AND...
DAMAGING THE ENVIRONMENT MORE THAN THE GASOLINE NOT BURNED.
Sorry, just sayin’
At least a Prius is not as gay as a Subaru. You got that going for you.
Onset of a yeast infection in 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1
When he says “wife”...ah, never mind.
