I had a customer back then who was a retired Prof of Architecture..He told me he had worked on the construction of the Towers and that the WTC did not have a layer of concrete poured over any of the beams as was SOP until the 70’s in NYC.As a result he had no problem believing that the steel was melted quite quickly

He did demonstrate very well how fire will soften iron. Soften = weaken.

Also because your fuel isn’t fast-burning jet fuel.
Try cooking your hamburgers over a gallon of that stuff and tell us how well the grill holds up.

Somewhere there’s a video of a guy pouring liquid oxygen onto a charcoal grill. The latter doesn’t fare well.

Waaah, now I want my safe space.

The nice thing about Constitutional freedom and free speech is we all have the ability to say things others may not agree with or that others may feel offends them. We still have the right to offend others. I kind of like it like that. If someone wants to believe or tell me that the sun sets in the east, or about 9-11, so be it.

The mostly liberal elites (Harvard types) are slowly (slyly) setting us up to take away the First and Second Amendment. They are creating a society where conspiracies and other beliefs, that they deem offensive should be made illegal, and representing the crime of political correctness.

Another aspect of 9/11 not discussed as much as melting steel is how people could have set up the building for demolition without being discovered. Thousands of people worked in the WTCs. For wreckers to do their work, they would have been observed by thousands of people. There's no way they could have set it up for demolition without being suspected/discovered.

It's like the people who believe all pro sports are rigged....and I knew a few. The amount of people who would have to keep their mouths shut would be in the thousands or tens of thousands. That would include the athletes, coaching staff, and management. There's no way somebody wouldn't spill the beans with that many people involved.

You actually don’t even have to melt the steel for the buildings to collapse. All material strengths are a function of temperature, dropping as the temperature increases. From my copy of MIL-HDBK-5F, depending upon the alloy, I can show that all structural steels only have 40% to 60% their tensile yield strength between 800°F and 1000°F. Compressive strengths fair even worse at temp.

I find that 9/11 Truthers are much more likely to be moonwalk deniers and even holocaust deniers.

Weak minded fools.

The second tower to be hit fell down first, mainly because the first plane hit fairly high up. Your odds of escape from the first building were not too bad unless you were near the top of the building. Second plane hit closer to the middle of the building and that was the building with most of the the jumpers.

“Then how come my barbecue doesn’t get white hot and melt down like that?”

Do you barbecue with jet fuel???

“And how can a kitchen fire cause wtc 7 to fall straight down?”

Well, falling debris from the other towers had sheared off load-bearing parts of the structure. Of course the conspiracy theorists you listen too probably withheld that information from you, because conspiracy theorists just ignore and hide inconvenient facts that contradict their theories.

'He did demonstrate very well how fire will soften iron. Soften = weaken.'

No 'truther' here. He merely demonstrated putting a piece of iron in a furnace will soften the integrity of the iron.

UNIFIED CONSPIRACY THEORY:

In 1908, an alien spacecraft exploded at Tunguska, Russia;

The Roswell alien spacecraft was a rescue mission for the Tunguska crash, but it fell through a wormhole and crashed in the New Mexico desert 39 years later;

A piece of alien technology from the Roswell crash was discovered by a teenager named Elvis Presley;

Presley turned it over to the Nazi scientists of Operation Paperclip (Presley was placed in a government relocation program in Memphis, TN, where he promptly blew cover);

The Nazi scientists reverse-engineered the alien technology and developed the Internet, GMO’s, fracking and chemtrail technology, which in turn sucks our precious bodily fluids from the atmosphere and provides power for the HAARP array;

The HAARP array sent out a harmonic tone that destroyed the Twin Towers and the Pentagon on the order of George W. Bush, who personally detonated them from his secret Skull and Bones man-cave beneath the campus of UT-Austin.

There, it all makes sense, Mulder and Scully were right, The Truth Is Out There, man!

The steel didn’t have to melt. Its tensile strength is greatly reduced at high temperature. Its a very well known concept in structural design, and the entire reason structural steel is clad in fire resistant material.

Although it is possible that some of the plastics in the building, combined with the updraft from the fire, and burning jet fuel of course, could have reached the melting point of steel. I never understand where these guys think steel com3s from....do they think there are I Beam forests out there? Of course fire melts steel - its how we shape it and roll it into beams.

One of the structural engineers at work told me he knew a secret...and he knew exactly why the buildings fell.

I held my breath and waited to be enlightened by his theory.

He told me “They flew f#ing airliners into them!”

That about sums it up.
