Anyway the Roman version would have been in Latin:
Dies triginta habent September, Aprilis, Junius et November...
...but I'm not sure how it went before Augustus stole a day from February.
He sure accomplished a lot more in his life than MLK ever did.
The condition is called vitiligo. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitiligo
The autopsy confirmed the fact that he had the disease.
Jeez...is it that time of year again. I am just scraping the pink crap off of everything from October.
Carver viewed faith in Jesus Christ as a means of destroying both barriers of racial disharmony and social stratification. He was as concerned with his students’ character development as he was with their intellectual development. He compiled a list of eight cardinal virtues for his students to strive toward:
Be clean both inside and out.
Neither look up to the rich nor down on the poor.
Lose, if need be, without squealing.
Win without bragging.
Always be considerate of women, children, and older people.
Be too brave to lie.
Be too generous to cheat.
Take your share of the world and let others take theirs.
Take the hint about what I think about that post, and reconsider.
I have successfully avoided anything to do with black history shiite since they started it. I will continue.
It’s time we start saying it: Black people are SOFT....There is NOTHING that doesn’t offend them.
I understood almost none of that. I live in the United States, not far from a big city, and I get out of the house pretty often, and I read a lot, including books about pop culture by black authors ... and I understood almost none of that “article.”
“Hey, look at me! I can write a complete sentence! I get an “A” and published!”
Also, Most African slaves where from West Africa. They where from Modern day Senegal, Ghana and Gambia.
What is this person babbling about?
#7. A white man playing Michael Jackson in a film about him sounds right to me. Jackson bleached himself white so it would probably be OK with him too. He obviously didn’t like being black!
:-)
.
Hey, I’m an expert about the man too. Learned about him every year of school K thru 12 for an entire month! I even did a book report on him. If he was a white man who accomplished the same things, I probably never would of heard of him.
So says the nappy headed ho.
I don’t even think she’s trying to be funny.
I’ll pay as much attention to this publicity whore’s admonitions as I do the celebration of “Kwanzaa”.
For black history month, we choose to act as if it does not exist. Makes us racis, I suppose.
But don’t you think we’d be a lot better off if in schools they actually taught about guys like Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver, over the Afro-Centric dreck they teach during BHM?
Seems like three or four minutes would be enough.
