The fact is that we can not get away from constantly hearing about the ‘accomplishments’ of African Americans. Most of them could be covered in the course of a single day. While getting through the accomplishments of Western Europeans (’WHITE’ people) takes years. Simply going over the accomplishments of Thomas Edison would take several weeks to fully understand.
The other fact is that even though February is the shortest north of the year, it is also an interminable day longer this year. 29 days not 28 dummy!

I understood almost none of that. I live in the United States, not far from a big city, and I get out of the house pretty often, and I read a lot, including books about pop culture by black authors ... and I understood almost none of that “article.”
