I asked the guy who was putting on the Black History Month display at the Fortune 100 company where I worked if he had any information on Vivian Thomas.
“Who’s she” He asked.
I spent 20 minutes explaining that Mr.Thomas was a high school educated janitor who largely invented heart surgery.
The following year I approached the same guy with the same question.
“Who’s she” He asked.
