does anybody really care about Carson?
Carson and Jeb Bush were the only guys in the race I could even identify up until sometime in January. (I knew the names, of some others, but not where they stood or what they looked like.) Carson may not be racking in the votes, but he has a lot of longtime Republican and conservative followers.
And I'm sure the whole train wreck aspect pulls in even more. Carson made a big deal of how he's running because he's sick of all the nasty political ploys, but a fair number of people think he's ALL political ploy at this point. I've heard more Crackpot Theories on "what Carson is really up to" the past few days than I can remember, most of them are some variation of "he's cheating people out of money" or "he and Trump have some deal going."
If any of them turn out to be true, I have a liberal friend who is going to be completely insufferable on the "oh, how the mighty have fallen" front. My theory is just that Carson's in over his head and coping badly, so hopefully he'll settle down soon. But even if he doesn't, the media will get tired of him after the New Hampshire vote I expect.
Since they are still trying to blame Cruz for what is Carson AND ONLY Carson's fault-yet another story pointing out the truth.
Can't blame CNN for speculating about Carson's "highly unusual" moves either. It was strange for a candidate to leave in the middle of a campaign period-makes it look like they are not going to stay in the race.
Denial is a river swamping the Cruz camp. Check out the video in @CNNPolitics’s Tweet: https://twitter.com/CNNPolitics/status/696194244470509569?s=09
Yea was just looking it up-— It was close to 15 minutes before caucus started and before Cruz’s statement-— I am rooting for Trump but Cruz gets a pass on this-— the only thing I could quibble about is the statement that Carson is planning a big announcement...
I’m not pretending that it bothers me.
I am simply stating the facts of what happened without special regard to any candidate at all.
I don’t give a friggin’ crap if Trump lost. Trump said he is going to win so much that we are going to get tired of winning, so he is the Wizard of Win, it’s up to him to win, and losing makes him look pretty darn stupid, don’t it?
And on top of that Trump made himself look like a fool threatening to sue, and wanting a do over and claiming that this cost him, because it didn’t. He lost, because he failed to close the deal with Iowa voters.
If you are going to talk a big game, you had best be able to back it up, and he failed. And if he loses NH, he’s finished.
How’s that for honest?
Now let’s see you be honest about Ted Cruz’s dishonesty and lack of character.
Go.
“The only reason you see this noise here is that trump supporters think trump would have won if this didn’t happen.
The reality of the situation doesn’t seem to matter one bit. They just want to find something to bash Cruz with.
Ideas won’t work.
Record won’t work.
Knowledge won’t work.
So what do they do?
âCruz is responsible for something that happened without his knowledge!â
âCruz is (insert childish insults. Ie. Nasty, unlikeable, ugly, oily, ad nauseam)
The only thing that would make them happy is Cruz dropping out and throwing his support behind the NY liberal. “
Couldn’t say it better myself....the new trump is Kim Jong un is he waited in the debate hallway with Carson so Carson wouldn’t feel bad....trump supporters are crazy
His campaign was dishonest when he said there would be an announcement next week....the rest of the stuff was car sons fault
Incorrect.
His campaign was dishonest when it stated that Ben Carson was going to do anything other than stay in the race, because that is what Carson did.
It is not Ted Cruz’s business to report on the campaign status of one of his opponents as if he was an objective observer or anything else.
He did a disservice to voters, and he disgraced himself.
yep
You’re using a video of some guy on CNN saying Cruz lied as proof that Cruz lied?
Content, content, content.
Face it Team Ted lied, “principled” died.
Don’t recall that exact quote from Colonel Potter. I do remember these:
Horse Hockey
Buffalo Bagels
Mule Fritters
Monkey Muffins
Cow Cookies
Bus Load of Bushwah
Sufferin Sheepdip
Beaver Biscuits
Pigeon Pellets
Pony Pucks
All are appropriate!!!
