I’m with you, a TT Coupe would look nice in my parking spot.
Some organizations, like FIA, have a 50 car threshold to be considered a production car.
Interesting and informative post, thanks.
Isn’t “Chiron” the name of the boatman who ferries your soul across the river Styx to the afterlife? If so, I would take that as a bad omen.
Yeah,”Highway Star” by Deep Purple is the true pick. :-) but my second option would be “Black Sunshine” by White Zombie and Iggy Pop.
BTW; That could cut the travel time between me and my in-laws house, 1850 miles away.

There are images ranging from Remy Martin to the Royal Army Veterinary Corps if the Wikipedia page is correct.
I watched a short documentary on Bugatti. It’s amazing the ends that they go to to make these cars as perfect as possible. The interior leather comes exclusively from a herd of alpine cattle that are pastured without barbed wire and at an altitude high enough to avoid mosquito bites all in an effort to make the leather as flawless as possible.
That’s cool, but I’d still rather have a Bowler EXR-S. Performance that will beat just about any Porsche on asphalt, and can nearly match that performance off road.
If you’ve never done over 135 of road, it’s certainly an experience you won’t soon forget.
You wouldn't let these guys do it, would you?
Looks like the tucker on steroids.
That's more than my whole Harley. I guess I'll be really content with the Harley for my big dollar vehicular toy.
That 8 Liter W16 with 1500 hp is amazing.
This is the one they probably mean, from Greek mythology: “a learned centaur who acted as teacher to Jason, Achilles, and many other heroes.”
I don’t know if that’s really much better than the boatman to hell.
It’s a car I will never own, drive and most likely ever
see other than in pictures and movies.
Still, I think the Mclaren looks a lot cooler.
What are you talking about? It's four wheel drive.
I don’t have the “need for speed”, anymore. But I do like those aero cars from the 30s & 40s.
They need to use one of these in a movie.
Louis Chiron, the racing driver after whom the new Bugatti is named.
Goin’ Mobile by The Who (well, almost anything by The Who) is also a great driving song.
cheers
Jim
That’s a fitting tribute.
Mine was funnier, though. :)
