Pretty much like a race car which needs tire changes during a race. Granted if you can afford this car tire changes just go with the cost of driving.

That aero bodywork would be ok to push 1-3” of snow for a couple hundred feet; after that, it’s useless. My old CAT frontloader was more fun in 30”+ of the white stuff.

The river Styx ferryman is called Charon not Chiron. It also got a moon of Pluto named that too.

In Greek mythology, Charon or Kharon (/ˈkɛərɒn/ or /ˈkɛərən/; Greek Χάρων) is the ferryman of Hades who carries souls of the newly deceased across the rivers Styx and Acheron that divided the world of the living from the world of the dead.

The hills around Silicon Valley come alive with cars like this on nice weekends. Most of the exotics do seem to be weekend toys.

We never see million dollar cars in Iowa but we do see some $250,000 ones. Very rarely though.

Off to the crusher.

Maybe they accept trade-ins? You know--Cash for Clunkers.

"Anyway, neat car. But if I hit the lottery I think the most exotic I might go would be a Tesla and/or a high-end Audi." I think I might go for a Silverado High Country, 6.2L of course 🤗

My 8 year old grandson would love that. He has always loved exotic and muscle cars. He can spot one on the street a block away. lol

My son has a kick for spotting them. He usually sends me one or two pics a week of what he has seen. Sometimes he chats up the drivers if the cars are parked. He’s always struck by how normal the drivers are. None have been real a-holes.

Wasn’t able to get my order in on-time for a Veyron but now I am breaking the penny jar for the $2.6MM needed for the Chiron. I wonder if I have to roll them or can we use a coin counter?

I wonder how many miles per year a person puts on a car like this. I bet they just sit in a fancy garage most of their life.

Just like any other toy, it depends on the person, where he lives, how much free time and how many supercars and other toys and hobbies he's juggling/collecting/enjoying.

I have a 57 Bel Air and 67 Camaro, so people come up and chat all the time and I love to talk with them. But I get pretty testy with the ones who want to buy hem for free, like I’m some idiot. I think some of them are scoping me out to try and steal them.

How many buyers have the skill to drive one of these much over 80 mph? Face it, most of the rich testosterone deprived rich guys that buy fast cars do it for obvious reasons, and it is not for driving fast.

I’ve owned a few classics, still have one. These days, I don’t drive it unless I’m carrying a handgun. Most people are just happy to see the car and want to ask questions, but some you can tell are sizing you up.

Thanks. I was wondering if I was just being paranoid. Apparently not.
