Also i'm sorry I dropped the ball on the cooking thread, left you hanging, think it was you. Things always come up and I get side-tracked.
I prayed for your father's soul and mother's healing. It seems pretty clear that she has already taken the flight to wherever and will just cause more distress. It is no fun to have a digestive illness, ever. I had one yesterday but it seems to have cleared up for now.
I will also keep you in my prayers that God will give you strength, as it sounds like the burden has fallen most heavily on your shoulders.
We haven't had any Alzheimers as such in the family as most died of something else but there were a couple who had serious memory problems. I can't imagine what it would be to have a parent suffer an affliction when you like to think of happier times.
Funerals are so hard. You kind of go on auto when it's somebody close and all these people to deal with, most of whom mean well by coming.
Tears and prayers for her, you and all your relations.
May God heal her and her caregiver, grant her safe journey and comfort you and all of the loved ones.

If your poor sick mother does not really understand what happened, please please don’t make her go to the funeral.
