First, I’ll admit that in true FR fashion I didn’t click through and read the entire article, but...

My reading of this excerpt is that scientists have created a replica which is based on guesses and which is in no way verifiable, and now they are going to extrapolate from their guesses and use this “re-creation” to “learn” more about the culture of these early humans? I need to get a job like this... one where I can make up any old story and have it taken as truth. Wait! That’s American politics, isn’t it?!!

And what was life like then for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered ancestors of modern humans??? Did they have homosexual marriage?

And what of discussions of the issues of the day? Did they have safe spaces in Olduvai Gorge???

And, I wonder too, about their carbon footprint.

Wait! What?

I thought it was a garden and we had dominion over all the animals?

Now I am really confused.

I even ok with some things being down for a day or so. Why rush to fix stuff. It’ll get done.

from the article: " '...it was tough living,' she said. 'It was a very stressful life because they were in continual competition with carnivores for their food.' "

To the contrary, the scientists first determined the time period which was made fairly easy because a layer of volcanic ash separated the material being studied from more recent dirt and fossils. They then collected fossils including animal bones and plant fossils and particularly pollen. There were a lot of stone tools the edges of which retain traces of what the users were processing. It’s forensic sciences applied to an ancient site.

You’re lucky then. I like the taste of shrimp; but not
willing to suffer for them. This thing hit me several
years ago. My friend helped me realize what was causing
my sick headaches that were just EXTREME. I was eating
Hershey’s kisses one day at the store. My friend said,
“A lot of people can’t eat chocolate because it makes them
have awful headaches.” Well, I had been having horrible
headaches; so I decided to try quitting the Hershey’s.
It worked. - Now that I’ve been off the chocolate for years
now, I can have a little bit of it in a Frosty now & then;
but when the nagging headaches start up, I back off. - It
was miserable before I got a clue. Before I got informed,
I went on a car trip to Atlanta with my husband. He kept
having to stop and let me puke on the roadside & let me
lie down with my head in his lap I was SO sick. - There is
generally ALWAYS an explanation for any illness.

Whole article is unadulterated BS.

They made a discovery recently in China that kills the evolution from apes theory anyways.

Besides that, we were created in God’s image.

The Red Deer Cave discoveries do not in the least conflict with the understanding of human evolution except in the misrepresented creationist version. During most of human evolution there have been more than one different species around. Neanderthal, Homo Erectus (the Red Deer Cave people) and Homo Florensis all shared the planet with early Homo Sapiens. Remember, dogs descended from wolves but we still have wolves around (not to leave out jackals, foxes, coyotes, dingoes.

I look forward to reading your paper rebutting their findings. Where will you be submitting it?

I am working 15-16 hour days right now, oilfield electrician, and I’d be hard pressed to point you in the right direction.

I was under the impression that folks here are intelligent, I’m sure you can find the info.
