I got in trouble years ago for saying that one day their will be a cure for homosexuality based on amino acids therapy. I am of the opinion that when we really get to understand the role of all the different amino acids, cures for a great many diseases will be found.

Check Dr. Dominick D’Agostino You Tubes for cancer therapy with ketogenic diet, exogenous ketones and hyperbaric oxygen.

I recall OTC L-Tryptophan was illegal years ago.
Being diabetic, fats & protein are important. But not all fat & protein sources are alike.
Do we have a Paleo Ping list?

Not that I know of. The Cancer Warriors have already been pinged by Tired of Taxes.

Homosexuality seems to be a congenital defect. Studying twins and identifying one twin that is homosexual and the other heterosexual in multiple instances proves it is not genetic. Brain structure differs in homosexuals by whatever causes the defect.

Foods rich in tryptophan and methionine include cheese, lamb, beef, pork, chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, nuts and soybeans. In other words, eat lots of protein.

I recall OTC L-Tryptophan was illegal years ago.Yes, it was. The reason for that was that one Asian company, out of the dozens that make it worldwide, took shortcuts in its manufacturing process and created a toxic product.
The FDA banned all sales of L-Tryptophan for many years based on that incident.

I know a few biologist that believe that the defect is caused by some unnatural chemical imbalance in the brain. Enzymes and amino acids are the key to the future of medicine.
To: Do the math
Adult stem cells and immunotherapy are also part of that future. We live in exciting times.

L- Tryptophan was made illegal as a knee jerk reaction to a bad batch that circulated. I believe D-Tryptophan was the contaminant.
Anyhow, lots of L-Tryptophan in turkey. Thus John Madden referring to it as “trip the fan” during one Thanksgiving football game.

It wasn’t so much that the Asian company “took shortcuts in its manufacturing process” (that’s the official story) but that the tryptophan products were genetically engineered material, and the FDA knew about it and fraudulently shifted the blame onto “dangerous” supplements to protect the GMO business - http://www.supplements-and-health.com/l-tryptophan.html

Thank you. Gene Eric might be interested in that info too.
I hadn’t really updated my knowledge of what happened with
L-Tryptophan and the FDA since I went to herb school in ‘94.
It was nice of you to sign up just to tell me that too. Thanks again!

Thanks for history/background.
The ban is a distant memory. But I recall wanting to try L-Tryptophan as a remedy for my 28 hour/day clock.
