During his speech, Ted spoke of his five major endorsements...And when he said Jeb Bush was one of the five I was floored...Couldn't believe he was bragging about Jeb Bush...
I've seen Trump supporters admit Trump is not a conservative.

Cruz's calls for roll call votes are seen as mere tricks to get his colleagues on the record for anything with which he disagrees" (thus forcing his colleagues to tell the truth and do what the people who voted for them want them to do-rather than lying and breaking promises behind closed doors- This is otherwise known as "Doing his job" representing the people.)

Ted Cruz knows how to deal with the treasonous Senate.
But IMO- Donald Trump will be completely overwhelmed by the den of vipers in Congress.
He (Trump) doesn't have a clue how things work there.
For those who see Trump as "Crushing the Gope"- they (Gope) will ultimately end up controlling him through his lack of knowledge and inevitable errors that will occur, and because of his lack of knowledge of how government works.
His ego will not let him acknowledge any errors so he will go along with the GOPe to cover them up.
Evidence that this will happen if Trump is POTUS is shown in his handling of his delegate problem.
Trump messed up. His good brain should have told him to hire the right people in the first place - Long before now.

Agree. Not only is he just a lawyer, Cruz is full of histrionics and his delusions of grandeur are as far out as Obama’s. Cruz has been a very strange weirdo since a kid. In college during a debate he told a female debater from the opposite team that he thought women should be given additional hymens to play virgin and pass inspection. The female debater went into contortions as if to show how stupid Cruz’s idea was. From hymens to dildos Cruz has more serious issues/ problems. He is like many Hispanics in America that left the catholic church and got into the Pentecostal side of religion. They pick certain scripture like I Corinthians and where it mentions tongues they assume Paul means babble or a language not spoken by man. They fail to realize that Paul was Saul and therefore not present when the disciples were. Luke who wrote Acts clearly tells us in Acts 2:5-8 which states-the crowd came together and were bewildered because “each one of them was hearing them (disciples) speak in his own language. These were Parthians and Medes and Elamites and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea -—, ——, etc. Many different peoples from all over were there and they heard their native language spoken-NOT GIBBERISH.

Would sound good if it was a good assessment - unlike what they tolerate with Obama, both sides have it in for Cruz - for the same ideological reasons. Their skins are thin and his ego is bigger than one might assume due to all his "humble beginnings" talks. It would be a toxic mixture and it is also an indication that even if he manages a contested convention, he is already sunk by the same system he is adept at and which those who want to stay entrenched are in control of.

Because he lost this race the day Trump announced. He and a few others are just too stubborn to absorb the facts. His time to do fine has long passed. Alpha/Beta, Leader/Follower.
But as time goes on, I feel less and less certain that the FBI will bring charges and the DOJ will prosecute. Too much politics involved. Comey says he will interview Clinton but that still hasn't happened yet. Why? Obama is making improper comments about her innocence which muddies the waters. He can't keep his nose out of it and his mouth shut. Lynch is a Hillary supporter and doesn't publicly show any inclination to tackle Clinton's email and server problems. She's more concerned about US citizens offending Muslim sensibilities. Bullsh*t! Now the scuttlebutt is that nothing will happen, if at all, until after the convention or the election itself.
These are all political speak and machinations that translate into, "She's gonna skate out of these national security violations problems without even a scar to show for it." The longer this drags on, the less likely she will be found guilty of anything. Like you say, she should be in jail by now.
