The positions that 48 of them held are preceded by “former”.
That means they were not good enough to make the grade.
They were either fired, or were incapable to gain the trust of the voters...therefor they hold the voters in contempt.
The voters decided for Trump, the voters decided not for them.
They are proven to be incompetent.
They have been weighed and judged and found to be lacking.
They are failures in life, career, and ethics.
Perhaps a few of these pillow biting waste will dig deep and find an inkling of moral fortitude and do the right thing, scribble a note of farewell, and grab that cocked and loaded shotgun leaning in the corner next to the fireplace and do their family, themselves, and the world a favor and stick the barrel in their mouth and pull the trigger wither traitors toe.

This may be payback for Trump's having exposed the fallacies of "W's" Near Eastern policy in the Primary campaign. Or it may be something yet more sinister. It forces one to recall the Eastern Republican establishment's war of destruction on Barry Goldwater--never by debating the issues, but by similar grandiose fear mongering.
If these internationalists want an American Armageddon, the Mainstream media will secure the confrontation in all its unpleasantness. But the end is not clear. We still have an edge.
