Alinsky’s 12 Rules:

8. “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.
10. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
11. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
12. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

IMHO, Twitter, like all social media, is a waste of time. Sorry, but I’ve got more important things to do. Like getting out the vote for Trump to overcome the massive voter fraud planned by the RATS. And FReeping here on FR. Donated to the FReepathon yet?
With all info in cyberspace there is no need for an orwellian memory hole to burn books etc. No need for the (un)fairness doctrine. They can simly wipe out all truth and free thought with the click of a button or pull the plug on Michael Savage etc. Welcome to the brave new world comrades
I don’t use Twitter and you don’t, but our candidate has been using Twitter effectively.
So it IS a big deal that in the middle of a campaign they shift their policy.
Not to mention all of our money which can be confiscated for the good of the regime at the click of a button

Your opinion is in the extreme minority. Thankfully, Trump , like most, doesn’t share it, and has used social media extremely effectively to this point, which has benefited his campaign greatly.

Twitter’s leadership cut a deal with someone. Their system might go to the dogs and their staff with it, but they won’t.
Twitter is going to regret doing that. They’ll say it was a glitch.
I was concerned that Trump’s tweets were going to be censored.
Unbelievable that a stupid company with a stupid name has power over what a Presidential candidate can post and who can see them. Begs to question: Will Twitter have more power than a US President?
I tried to sign up for that over a month ago and got put on a waiting list as the app is still in beta testing.
As I recall, I was #500,2** in line but I never got any kind of confirmation email or anything from them saying that they had received my application.

Twitter has been unfair to Trump supporters, that is certain, but this is not one of those cases.
