Worse traffic I ever seen was trying to get out of Las Vegas after the New Year. The traffic stopped on the I-15 just south of the Mandalay Bay. We tried to leave a few times and gave up and went back to my sister-in-laws place. It was taking 12 hours to go from LV to LA which is normally a 4 hour drive.
