And how much fire did this injustice stoke?
Gotta keep the pot stirred or blacks might realize that conservatism serves them a lot better than liberal plantation-ism.
I have read elsewhere that Emmett Till’s dad was convicted and executed for crimes against civilian women while in Europe. Some say the fruit does not fall far from the tree.

Probably not, most of the really ardent Southern racists flipped to the GOP after LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act. If she votes, it’s certainly for our side. A lot of the really ignorant ones don’t vote though so there’s a good chance someone this low-rent is in that category. #maeellaeuell
An unresolved murder from 60 years ago is not relevant now? Why is that not still significant to his family and to the village in which it took place?
that should be #mayella ewell
It has to do with the fact that our culture ignores that fact and in fact acts indignant like you guys do when it’s even brought up yet Emmet Till is a martyr ingrained in the heart of anyone educated in the USA under the age of 50
And trying to explain that to white Americans who’s exposure to black crime and hostility to whites who live in homogeneous areas is a waste of time
I know
Y’all got black friends
I get it
What happened to Till was lamentable but the entirety of white on black injustice of that era is statistics wise been dwarfed annually in this nation since the late 60s by the opposite injustice
Whites are the victims of blacks at genocidal rates especially regarding rape and murder and assault whilst the opposite is negligible or almost unrecorded as in the case of black on white rape
The crimes against Emmet Till notwithstanding
So where’s the outcry?
Why are not their marches over it?
Movies?
Because the truth is not pretty
It’s like this anywhere in the world with blacks and whites together
Blacks victimize whites and it’s ignored or not talked about but grievance about slavery, discrimination , segregation or God forbid lynching are canonized
Any resistance is immediately derided as white nationalism or some other perjorative
However is a little pushback
Artie..,,been awhile
Hotty Totty.,,,lol
It’s not that hard to get a senile person in their 80s to say what you want.
Bullseye!
"Yes, there was real, legal racism in this country sixty years ago.
Hard working black people couldn't vote, had to ride in the back of buses and trains, couldn't eat at restaurants, and their schools were underfunded compared to white schools.
That was due to government mandated segregation, which does not exist any more.
So let's move on, okay??"
What an evil woman...
God’s Justice is always Perfect.
Till got his, and this lady will get hers. Mark my words.
Certainly an agenda here.
Who pushed the woman into making this admission? She says that she does not remember anything else about the evening. Maybe that is the way it happened. But reaching back 60 years to this event to inflame race tensions now, makes me a little suspicious.
Yes, it was a horrific crime.
Even if what she said at the time was true, it did not justify the murder. The action of the Jury was abhorrent, no matter whether she told the truth or lied.
Salutations to you too FRiend! :)
Amen
Anyone who thinks thy are better than the next guy is suspect IMHO
Found the bigot
BTW Obama has that by the truckload
And he was raised as a privileged white boy
Probably not, most of the really ardent Southern racists flipped to the GOP after LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act.
Don’t try to change the subject. What this woman did was pure evil and no decent person should excuse.
