appreciate it...
Dang Kyle Busch has to be the best re-starter I’ve ever seen.
Indycar is even worse than NASCAR. Only a handful of teams racing fake OW cars that all look the same. Tony George killed the golden goose.
It seems the shape of the track and the slight banking of the turns at Indy create a one groove race track for NASCAR...
They do seem to run single file for most of the race...
The high banks at Daytona, Talladega, Bristol, etc allow for stock cars to rune more than one groove...
Run side by side, bumper to bumper...More exciting to watch than the single file BS at Indy....
Here is an amazing wreck at Daytona, 1971...
Maynard Troyer only got a broken ankle out of this...
(The driver I worked for goes under in the grass at the 12 second mark...Elmo Langley)

It’s the cars, they all suck...the “stars” aren’t. Too many laps under caution. At yellow, no racing back to Start/Finish line....and on and on.
Dump a box of Fruit Loops into the toilet and give it a flush. Add in some redneck to announce, and you have a NASCAR race.
Then don’t watch or pay any attention to it...Problem solved...
$$$ Too pricey for their fan base.
IMHO the racing at indy for stock cars is very boring giving me daytona taladega darlinton hell even CMS
Yep...Agree....
This Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 format is irritating. You can’t call it a 400 mile race, when it’s three shorter races. They’ve ruined the sport by tampering.
Agreed............
NASCAR at Indy always seemed to me like quarterhorses at Churchill Downs.
“In the 70s when I worked for a driver, you could tell Chevy from Ford, Ford from Plymouth...Plymouth from Dodge...”
Heck, back in the day even AMC was in the game for a while - remember when Bobby Allison won the 1974 Darlington in a Matador?
I sure do...We thought it was hilarious when he first showed up in an American Motors car...
Remember Roy Tyner driving an Oldsmobile???
Or maybe it was a Pontiac???
David Pearson also went to a Pontiac once...
Gave up on NASCAR 20 years ago....haven’t watched or paid even a nanosecond of attention to it in that time.
Used to be the greatest racing in the world. I don’t even recognize it now.
Ha ha kyle busch
Well i guess toady you got suckerd back to it im sure it took a wee bit longer than a nanosecond to post to this nascar thread
