History is a weird mixed thing. Democrats, which comprised most of the old South, are today’s rabid leftists. I don’t think a flirtation with the naked philosophy of that day is wise. States’ rights took extreme leave of any notion of duty to God. It was doomed. Now a new hallowed redneck nation (which embraces all colors willing to embrace a godly idea of states’ rights) might arise. I am unsure this is it.
Until the South gets right with God, it cannot rise again.
Airbnb created a new policy last year, which stated that anyone who uses their platform (home owners who rent rooms, or travelers who rent rooms) must accept a new “policy” in which they agree to not discriminate against the usual left-wing protected groups in any way (gays, moslems, etc....). It is their new so-called inclusion policy.
The first time any registered Airbnb user logs into their account since this policy went into affect last year, they are immediately presented with the text of this new policy (it is short). The user must then click “I Accept”, or “I Decline”. If you click “I Decline”, your account is immediately cancelled. You are given one chance to change your mind after you are told that your account will be cancelled. Furthermore, you are also told that if you change your mind at a later date, and decide to accept their policy after all, you will be permitted to once again re-join Airbnb and have an account on their platform.
This is pure left-wing hatred and bigotry. I have used Airbnb in the past, had read about this new policy, but had forgotten to log into my account since it went into affect. When I saw this story posted here tonight, I was reminded of all of this. Hence, I just got done logging into my Airbnb account for the first time since this policy went into affect. I was presented with their new policy, and I clicked “Decline”. I am happy to report that my account was immediately cancelled, and I am now an EX-Airbnb account holder!! I never want to to do business with such an evil company ever again.
I was given an opportunity to write feedback about their new policy after they cancelled my account. At first, I wrote a short diatribe against them, their site, their politics, and their new policy. However, since they have all of my personal identity information, I decided it would be better not to have such statements on file with them, and I deleted what I had written without posting it. Given that they are probably a part of a high-tech network of left-wing fascists, and given what liberals in general might start doing to Conservatives in the future, I decided it was better not to leave them an obvious weapon that they can use against me if they ever start their persecutions. Why make it easy for them??
KKK are democrats. I call bull on this.
The problem is the unfair double standard. Where liberal companies deny service to conservatives and the public and courts say that’s OK, that’s freedom of speech and association.
Conservatives deny service, they are sued and threatened, whether as hate speech, hate crimes, violations of civil rights legislation.
The Colorado Civil Rights Commission had the record in one week of saying a Christian had to provide service to homosexuals because of civil rights rules, but the homosexual could deny service to Christians per his freedom of association. And they don’t see a double standard because some groups are higher in the social justice moral hierarchy.
No argument - double standards is one of today’s “Progressives” modus operandi. Their attack is often that a right is “for me and not for thee”,
>>>Isnt Airbnb some sort of fag hookup deal?<<<
Where on God’s green Earth did you come up with that?
It’s an APP that allows people to Rent your Home rather than staying at a Hotel.
Google is your friend, sometimes.
Are any Freepers attending the rally?
