My two theories. He still supports Trump but stabbed him in the back for removing transvestites from the military. Or he decided to give Trump tough love at a critical time for his Presidency to wake him up to the potential unrealized danger.
He could be sick and not actually running the show. For links only world news (my first site to visit) is newsnow.co.uk because I am still in the habit of checking on our military. First Iraq, then Syria, then Afghanistan, then Somalia, then whatever other area comes to heart.
I’ve fallen in love with Washington Examiner. Used to like Levin’s Conservative Review but the layout sucks. Still go and read the opinions though.
Noticed this thread this morning, just after sending Drudge a note asking where he was hiding the coverage of the the “setup”. Hard to imagine Drudge changing course, after the success he has had. The change most likely relates to some new direction in his personal life. Too bad ... the site will sink. Room for a rival is the upside. Have a good day, all. I recently changed my homepage and stopped looking at Drudge altogether. It seems he’s blaring through an anti-Trump megaphone lately and I get quite enough of that crap from everywhere else. I expected a little better from Matt.

Yes. It’s like Rush during the campaign. He wouldn’t come out and say anything against Trump, but clearly took great delight in reading every negative thing he could find about him written by someone else.
Drudge is doing the same thing by promoting the media’s endless stream of anti-Trump propaganda. He’s not “pointing it out,” as some die-hard Drudge supporters have declared, he’s adding to it by giving it further exposure.
Drudge’s over-the-top anti-Trump scare headlines and links have grown tiresome. I go elsewhere now. If that offends Drudge fan-bois here too effing bad.
Trump has really separated the wheat from the chaff.

It is actually possible that he “flipped” to keep from being dead. But no matter, he has clearly gone to the dark side in his coverage of news—and his kowtowing to, of all pathetic people, Jared Kushner.
My wife was a devoted Drudge reader, while I preferred this forum. Lately, she has noticed a definite drift leftward by Drudge to the point where she has abandoned it for “Whatfinger”.
Apparently, Mattie-Boy has decided to support the left and the swamp-things. His choice. Sic Transit Gloria Munde.

When the writer of this overblown report accuses Drudge of “going to the dark side” because he didn’t falsely report the VA gov and two Charlottesville officials had planned the deaths last weekend, that is both idiocy, and far from the facts.
The further statement that he did so, or might have done, out of fear for his life is worse.
Why can’t you just reply to an existing article? Yes, I’ve written vanities too, but they were articles that provided in-depth political analysis.

I have no idea what Steve Bannon will do, now that he heads the Breitbart operation. But...if my street smarts is anywhere near correct, he will be the burning catalyst, the forefront leader, heading a “TRUMP”, well funded campaign, that will focus on defeating Traitor/Turncoat, Republican Establishment, “Never Trumper”, office holders, many of them Congressmen and Senators, including those that hold “leadership” positions (Paul Ryan & Mitch McConnell) by effectively planning and effectively using the “Primary Election) tool to rid the Republican Party of these weak sister useless legislators, once and for all.
Now, McConnell is not up for re-election in 2018, but...he can be easily removed by a Senate that is populated with a strong majority of Trump conservatives, heavily.
I think you will soon see that effort begin in earnest, as Breitbart will become the major “Trump” media tool to rid the nation of Republican Establishment RINOS, etc. I personally believe there is little concern, relative defeating Democrats...for, they do such an outstanding job of defeating themselves with political nutcases, like Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Elizabeth Warren, Al Franken, Chuck Schumer, Debbi Wasserman Shultz, Terry (The Charlottesville Massacre Creator)McAuliffe,. etc.
Look for Breitbart to expand its reader base, widely, to become the number one Conservative communications organ in the USA, something that has been badly needed as a tool to instantly rebut the “Fake News” media. Good move, Trump, Good move, Bannon!!! MAGA!!!
