The writer says Hefner didn’t even call him by name, only saying ‘Valet’. The writer was given despicable daily tasks, but I guess the money was good. Some people will chose to tolerate an incredible amount of abuse and degradation for money and just to be close to power. I have to wonder if he writer’s wife was used by Hefner at one time or another. Was he (the author) okay with that too? Sharing his wife with The Boss?

All of the women associated with Hefner were prostitutes. They may have had different jobs and were paid in different ways, but they all sold themselves to an evil man.
