You made my point in your last paragraph.

Wow, a WeedWussy dismisses the violence that one of its potheaded teammates committed against an elderly man. Go violent potheads go!

“Thanks for sharing that fallacy of false knowledge :)”

You live in a childish fantasy where all your pothead friends are the greatest people.

Hint, kid: It ain’t the straight laced do-gooders in prison.

I dealt with people for 25 years who became violent after smoking pot.

Well OK then...25 years of your life dealing with violent pot smokers. Fascinating. Most that I have known in my life avoid violence. I would think that dealing with violence for more than a few months would lead to changes in your life but who am I to question?

I’d argue that violent people are more likely to smoke weed. That isn’t the same as the weed making you more violent. You could still argue it makes you LESS violent but you start with a user pool that has a higher than average violence rate.

I will agree to that. I have 2 older sisters that just come up with the strangest conspiracy theories. I know its because they are heavy users most of their adult lives. They have somehow morphed every known conspiracy into one big grand conspiracy.

Then I just sit back and throw out other possible theories at them to really twist their minds. The next time I see them they use these same things in their conspiracy arguments.

But they are as tame as kittens.

Your description sound like methamphetamine psychosis.

Don't even get me started on meth heads... but they are a completely different animal than pot heads. The only mind altering substances the police found in the guys house was pot and beer.

The funny part of the story is that after he unsuccessfully tried to shoot me and when the police were just starting to show up. He ran out the back door and into his garage... still naked and started up a lawn mower inside. The police sergeant asked me if that would kill him. I said that I doubted it, that he would probably just force himself out in a few minutes. And sure enough five or so minutes later he came out coughing and sputtering and wanting medical attention.

When did did this start? Pot has been legal in Alaska since the seventies. Only thing that changed was legalization (And control, testing and licensing) of retail sales and commercial production. Growing for personal use, possession and transport of small quantities has been legal for decades.

Where I live, in Alaska, nothing has changed except some senior citizens are now able to purchase quality regulated product legally instead of having to grow their own in a flower pot and are less dependent on opioids. Also, smuggling and illegal sales of unregulated, untested product are down.

Where are the facts to back up your assertion? Do they apply to anyplace outside of Anchorage?

“You live in a childish fantasy where all your pothead friends are the greatest people.”

You’re just full of fallacy today lol. Folks I know & work with almost daily that use cannabis are great people, else I would not be working with them or inviting them into our home.

“Hint, kid:”

LOL!!! If 56 is being a kid, then I took a wrong turn along the way that has nothing at all to do with cannabis.

“It ain’t the straight laced do-gooders in prison.”

I would hope not. Funny though, 13-15% of all Americans use cannabis daily according to a 2016 Gallop survey (Google it lol). To follow your “logic” there would be 21+ million people in prison today. Wonder why they aren’t all locked up yet???

“Wow, a WeedWussy dismisses the violence that one of its potheaded teammates committed against an elderly man.”

LOL!!! I bet you drink a gallon of liquid fallacy every day.

Pity for the victim in your story (no links to validate as usual) if it went down as you described. It doesn’t prove anything more than these evil assholes have no respect for their fellow man.

I have no “teammates”. I have family, friends & co-workers. Some use cannabis & most do not.

Looking forward to your next set of fallacies, VT. It’s always entertaining :)

You made my point in your last paragraph.

I am not sure what that point is, but I am glad that my experiences square with your view of the world. My experience is that pot has been a contributing factor in violent crime on many occasions. Without the pot however, many of the crimes likely would not have been committed in the first place.

Pot, alcohol and other mind altering substance cause people to do stupid things that they probably would not do without them. Repeated and habitual use especially, appears to cause long lasting psychological damage.

All valid points and your experiences are probably similar to many others here. As far as my job as a fire lieutenant... After 25 years I had had enough and retired as young as I could without a penalty. 25 years of poor sleep may be as bad for people as smoking pot.

So it’s true that pot destroys the pothead’s memory. You commented on the thread about your violent potheaded brethren when it was posted here a few months ago, but now you imply to have no clue about it.

I’ll refeesh your diminished memory of it: You denounced those violent weedlings for their crime. I didn’t commend you back then, but I commend you now for your decency, my good StickMan!

“So it’s true that pot destroys the pothead’s memory.”

Is it? Maybe in your face rich mind it is.

“You commented on the thread about your violent potheaded brethren when it was posted here a few months ago, but now you imply to have no clue about it.”

This may come as a shock to you (but not to anyone else with common sense) but I don’t mentally file away every thread or every discussion away for future reference. For instance, I don’t recall all of your fallacies from past posts either.

“I’ll refeesh your diminished memory of it”

LOL!!! That’s funny, VD! Truly hilarious :)

I don't think so, but maybe I've forgotten. I'll check my Calendar app and let you know if I have.

I have long since refrained from correcting the stupid utterances from pot smokers. I treat them the way I treat all mentally impaired individuals.
