if you think 1000 musicians is excessive, check out this one with TEN Thousand!

I haven’t been this moved since experiencing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s cover of Paul Anka’s “Having My Baby”.
Why? I might ask.
Sounds as stupid and unimpressive as Macy’s attempts every year to beat it’s last world record of the most simultaneous dancers doing a tap dance routine. The mass of the whole spectacle is such that i’st near impossible to tell among most of the dancers who is actually doing the routine well and who isn’t. Through the layers-rows of dancers most of the feet cannot be seen and all a body has to to is “move” (forward, back, sideways) correctly and few observers are the wiser.
I imagine it must be the same in the super loud & chaotic din of 100 musicians simultaneously playing Nirvanas Smells Like Teen Spirit. I won’t bother looking.
