Mark Levin is always an excellent author.
ALSO - read his “Liberty Amendments” - in it he dissects how the politicians have perverted the Constitution and he proposes new Amendments that would put more teeth back into the Constitution to help restore it to original intent.
People have suggested the “FEDERALIST PAPERS” - which is good. However, for those put off by a writing style that is more than 200 years old, there is a ‘modern language version - you can download at this link:

I recommend the book for YAs, provides fun reading. And adults who are not Constitutional scholars have also used it for reference.
And I bet she learned a lot and had a lot of fun doing it.

It’s been 20+ years since I read thru them. Thought I should read thru them again but the thought of 6 line sentences was a bit daunting. This is great.
