With all his homers, he’s allowed to strike out on occasion.
Hopefully, they’ll learn from their mistake.

Wow, O’Keefe has actually succeeded in making the WaPo vet their hit-pieces for a change before they libel conservatives.

Good Job!

The only gonzo source here is the National Review. Can’t win them all but at least his tries are heroic. The National Review? Gutless purveyors of homogeneity.

James O'Keefe is at least in the fight sluggin' away. He gives better than he gets.

The NR sit upon their embroidered tuffets within their gilded salons, thinking and consternating, all the live long day. It's oh so teddibly, teddibly hard.

They jabber incessantly with each other, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. They are emasculated, the very definition of "low T". The NR is little more than a glorified hen house full of clucking old biddies

They can downplay it all they want, but the fact is that the Compost got sucked in, and spent weeks talking to this woman in hopes of getting dirt on Judge Moore. They wasted manpower, and funds pursuing this story, which to me is a win for our side.

>>>How long was she in the WaPo office before they determined she was not a real victim? How did they determine this

She was in contact with WaPo for several weeks and during that period they identified a number of inconsistencies in her story.
She claimed she only lived in Alabmama for one summer but her phone had an Alabama area code.
Her initial email ended with a roll tide.
She had a GoFundMe page that read:
“I’m moving to New York!” the May 29 appeal said. “I’ve accepted a job to work in the conservative media movement to combat the lies and deceipt of the liberal MSM.’
She walked into the offices of Project Veritas.

What if the story played out just the way it was planned?

Everything O’Keefe has done since Acorn seems poorly thought out and oversold. The trend began in earnest back in 2010, when Veritas Project entered the federal office of then-mayor Mary Landrieu under false pretenses. The whole thing became a debate over phone tampering. It was not well thought out. The same kind of decisions are still being made today. In a general sense, I support his intentions, so I don’t make those remarks with any pleasure.

Some part of only being minimally successful may be due to familiarity of his modus operandi.
The more capers Veritas Project does, the more familiar everyone has become with his goals, his tactics and his hires.

Here’s the actual video Veritas posted.

Looks like they got inside the WaPo and got some good info before the bust:

Lee Martell: “The trend began in earnest back in 2010, when Veritas Project entered the federal office of then-mayor Mary Landrieu under false pretenses.”

Blue House Sue: That’s not true.

=================

You know, Lee, Blue House Sue is right. The trend began in earnest back in 2010 when Project Veritas entered the federal office of then-Senator Mary Landrieu under false pretenses. Here is the Justice Department press release announcing O'Keefe's guilty plea for entering federal property under false pretenses.

If you are referring to the entering under false pretenses, yes it is true.

James O’Keefe and Friends Plead Guilty in Mary Landrieu Office Caper

The four defendants who were arrested in January in Sen. Mary Landrieu’s office in the Hale Boggs federal complex in New Orleans pleaded guilty Wednesday morning in federal court to entering real property belonging to the United States under false pretenses.
