First time I haven’t watched a minute of the SB in decades.
I annually spent THOUSANDs on the NFL.
Game tickets, travel, hotel, meals/bar, NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL Game Pass.
No more. Not a penny till they stop the SJW horseshit.
I did not watch a single game all season. Never again will I watch any NFL product.
The tv ratings were way down ,even below last year. We recorded it and then watched only the commercials ( which stunk) . after a commercial we sped quickly past the game to the next commercial. It was funny.
I watched ten minutes of pre-game because I wanted to see the P-51/A-10/F-16 fly-over, which on the broadcast was a great big nothing-burger. Other than that, I played a little Battlefield 1, read a book, and examined the insides of my eyelids for a bit.
I wish I could accept the thanks.
But it’s hard to boycott something you haven’t watched since 1987.
It is time for us to fight back even more. Winning!

Just FYI, even if people boycotted the game by turning off their TVs, several acquaintances of mine reported turning their TVs on during gametime to watch something else, only to discover that the cable/dish company had changed the channel on their box to the game. They normally do not watch the channel the game was being broadcast on, so they know they would never have selected that channel themselves. It’s quite likely that even the lower numbers of this year’s game are inflated by the cable providers taking over subscribers’ cable boxes.
If the kneelers would continue this behavior after their pay was topped of at 100K, THEN I would truly believe their sincerity.
Was not hard for me.
Brady, Belichick and the Pats vs. anything from Philadelphia = an easy “none of the above” in Pittsburgh.
Anyone is free to boycott anything. But saying that boycotting the Super Bowl is “patriotic” and being a “good American”, when Armed Service members are there in attendance, and being honored for their service, along with many true patriotic Americans who support for teams,....is the height of Chutzpah!
Also very self-righteous and elitist!
I watched... it was a pretty good game... and tom baby got all wee weed up.
Actually it was a good game, better than most Super Bowls.
Philadelphia Eagles won their first SB ever and beat the insufferable and arrogant Patriots.
You’re welcome.
Went camping with the Boy Scouts near Port Huron that weekend. A much better use of my time.
Thanks. But it was no effort at all.
Haven’t watched a game since the Colts won the SB. Only watched that because I went with a friend to a party.
Quit watching the NFL completely when they kissed and made up with the dog killer Vick.
I boycotted the halftime show. Does that count?
Meh.
I was busy.
Zero games watched this season...didn’t miss them that much!
You’re welcome
