The spread of Christianity to Iceland had more to do with the missionaries sent there and the fact that the Scandinavian countries were all converting around 1000 A.D.

Of course, by then they had conquered the Danelaw and Normandy. And Ragnar had stolen and bestowed on Lagertha just about anything a gal could want.
