About 5 years now ...... carry my Glock 19 daily. Works very very well, easy and fast to don / doff if you must pass a 30:06 or 30:07 sign such as goobermint or hospital buildings. Best and cheapest carry rig I’ve found in a long time. ....... GEBO’s farm an ranch stores carry em up here in the panhandle. They hold up very very well over time. Honestly zero wear or tear.

Any Freeeper recommendations for a backpacking holster? Most leg holsters are so complicated.

What are you carrying and how do you want to carry it?

I have a chest carry rig from Bianchi for a large revolver, and you can get one from Simply Rugged for their holsters called a Chesty Puller. I think mine is a Ranger, and it holds a 7.5 Super Blackhawk. Thats probably not what you want to carry when backpacking.

I like the holster mounts too. I have them in all of my vehicles and hidey holes. It makes transferring your weapon a breeze.

If they are tight enough.
Printing could be an issue.

A rather large and heavy .45. Like the idea of of being on the leg but see no way around a complex system.
