“Strange Quark Matter” “up down Quark Matter”
I don’t like these names. I propose Bubba and Jethro, respectively.

If I dont care does it matter?Hirohito might have said the same thing about atomic physics in 1945. Then he started caring.

If I dont care does it matter? Only periodically.

If this lies off the edge of the Periodic table
does this prove the earth is flat?

If it lies off the Periodic Table you can bet that a cat pushed it there.

Didn’t Feynman predict the largest atomic particle?

If this lies off the edge of the Periodic table does this prove the earth is flat? My research assistant Dr. Kim says that regardless of lies, the globe remains round.

Oooooh, I hope Dr.Kim believes in globular warming~!

“Knowing better where to look for udQM might then help to achieve an old idea, that of using quark matter as a new source of energy,” Holdom said. “If quark matter is found (or produced in accelerators), it may be stored and then fed with slow neutrons or heavy ions. The absorption of these particles means a lower total mass and thus a release of energy, mostly in the form of gamma radiation. Unlike nuclear fusion, this is a process that should be easy to initiate and control.”
...
In that case, I hope it’s real and they find out ways to make it.

Which product do you think has the more marketable name? ‘Baryonic bomb’ or ‘hadronic bomb’? And where would be a good place to test it?
