the 50’s
A logger sold a load of logs. there were 17 at $30 each, 35 at $43 each and 72 at $51 each. What was his total sale? If he made $2 der log for the 17, $2.75 for the 35 and $1.75 for the 72, what was his profit.
You forgot that in 2035 in math class they throw the logger in the gas chambers and give praise to the hero of socialism - Adolph Hitler.
We have laws in the United States against selling adulterated products.
The school administrators need to tried in a court of law and jailed for producing adulterated students and selling that product to the public.
True. But the Russians weren't messing around. If they determined that your "ability" was digging the White Sea Canal, off you went.
In New York and California, being able to write your name on the test means you pass. And it doesn’t have to be written in cursive. In fact, just making an “X” is sufficient. And if you can’t do that, a $60,000-a-year assistant will do it for you.
It’s sad because it gives legit minorities a bad reputation.
At work, some black people talk about their master degree or getting their second master degree, and yet can’t grasp the most simple tasks at the office. I wonder if they are pushed through due to their skin color...all the way through college.
Or the reverse if the "teacher" is a grad of Columbia U's Teachers College?
If the test is multiple choice, they can guess better than that.
It still discriminates from those kids who can’t be bothered to show up for the test.
Most of us Upstate have, that is why you see the biggest out-migration in the country happen here. Broome County was the worst! One of my neighbors at the Lake (NEPA) just sold his home in NY and moved permanently out there. Saved him mega $$! He is a retired Trooper!
Go to this website, type in the occupation ‘teacher’ and see the results of who the teachers in America are politically supporting. No surprises. Those who listed their occupation as teacher made 350,000 contributions.
Grade inflation is how the Left keeps control of the government run education system and the parents are SO proud of their smart children getting these inflated scores.

HILLARY FOR AMERICA - DEMOCRAT
BERNIE 2016 - DEMOCRAT
It made the teachers’ union members lives a living hell more?
“And to think, I used to be proud of my 1962 Regents Diploma.”
You and me both, mine from ‘66. Actually, I still am because the standards were high — then. I pity the kids having to deal with the bar set so low.
>>Kids only need to score a measly 30 percent on this months Algebra 1 Regents test to pass, according to new state guidelines.<<
35% makes one Valedictorian.
“Weighted Average”
“Grading on the Curve”
I got my grades bases upon the 100 % scoring system.
These ignorant & uneducated persons will be showing up at various employments places looking for work.
They cannot accomplish a single thing, and they have been brainwashed into believing that they have accomplished something.
IF any of them get a ‘job’, they will be exposed within a week. Start of a further downward spiral.
I went from a one room grade school to a small high school. I wouldn’t trade ANY of that education for ANY of the current schools.
Am truly glad that I no longer have a long list of bookkeeping clients & am down to only 2. I could NEVER Find an appropriate or useful or talented employee out of today’s selection.
CHILD ABUSE
All money going to a school district anywhere in the country is a cookie jar that never empties. Our district just hired a new IT guy, not the brightest bulb according to the grapevine & he is the son in law of the head IT person!!!!!!!! Darn life is grand for some people.
It that like the 100% graduation rate from that D.C. school recently?
Then the obvious would be ‘26’
