I am so opposed to taxpayers funding religious charities. It is not charity if it uses taxes taken under pain of fine or jail. Even though I think that religious organizations usually do a better job helping the needy than purely secular groups, it should be done with freely given donations. What a "tangled web we weave" when taxes go to churches.
Thanks.
I was wondering the city.
Sounds like a good reason to avoid Chobani.
No knowing whats in the yogurt.
There are plenty of great yogurts out there without buying Chobani
Absolutely.
And Greek yogurt can be made by draining off some of the liquid of regular yogurt.
There are yogurt making supplies that you can buy to make and drain your own yogurt.
Its not hard.
Just another survival skill we have lost on our way, things the older generation knew that we have to relearn.
Straining out the extra whey in yogurt makes Greek yogurt thick, creamy and tangy. The plain variety has less sugar and more protein than typical yogurt
One must take off the whey and lactose

A neighbor of mine, way back in the 60s, used to make her yogurt inside some type of animal skin-——or something.:-)
Needless to say I have never done it. Her yogurt was great, though.
