Hard to believe - since you can go to federal prison for five years and be fined $250,000 for doing that.
Can the average computer owner really send an untraceable email?
I would not have a clue how to do that.
And if you bought some kind of software or browser or server that claimed to be untraceable, how could you possibly test that claim before you actually sent a real death threat, which would be rigorously investigated?
