Well, gator, One would have thought so but after the crap performance against Russia today; it’s not clear this Croatia team might have their hands full with Saudi Arabia.
They didn’t put much together against Russia and they didn’t match up well in the air but that was no excuse for the muddled mess in midfield most of the game.
Luka Modric didn’t look like a guy who wanted the ball and to control the game for the most part. He got pretty lucky when his partially blocked penalty hit the post and went in at the end of time.
England, on the other hand, seems to be hitting some cylinders especially with their forwards controlling a lot of the action earlier. They have some talent up front to control the ball combined with pace.
This game ain’t in Croatia’s favor any longer since they were spent mentally and physically with that extra 30 minutes of overtime IMHO.
Still like Belgium but that will be a close one with France next week. Their pace up front and power is exceptional.
Agree. England should be able to handle Croatia.
Not so sure about that, but it’ll be a good game.
Croatia are coming off of two consecutive 120 minute games. I’d be surprised if they don’t run out of gas.

I don’t get it. Soccer is supposed to be a non-violent game, but the fans seem to regularly engage in riots. Rugby, a violent game, yet you don’t hear of rugby fan riots.
These clowns also sing “God Save The Queen” in full throated song. Embarrassing to defend a Crown that bilks the people for billions of dollars per year.
Rugby is the game of the rich, soccer is the game of the working class.

In some ways this is what England needs...something to stoke patriotism and bring unity.

At the start of this tournament I stated on FR that I was watching Belgium...it’s a very good team.
...and I was born and raised in England, now a citizen of USA but of course still follow them.
To think it could be England vs. Belgium...would be a great final.

Yeh, it’s puzzling that these Brits will attack a furniture store, but not rip the throats out of the so-called “asians” who raped and murdered young girls. We can only hope that the Lord strikes them with a road-to-damascus lightning bolt and wakes them up.
I find the entire situation in the UK disgusting and incomprehensible.
