There was a movie,back in the seventies I think, called “The Tool Box Murderer”. Anybody remember that one?
Death by circular saw is not the worst option among the power tools. Not compared to death by handheld power planer, belt sander or bench grinder.
Being strapped down on a big mill making incrementally deeper cuts wouldn’t be a party either.
“OUCH!” That had to hurt!
Sanding skin off slowly over a large area is not pleasant.
Sawing-up the people Americans just refuse to do.
Nah. It’s just a macho-fight, something that some Mexican men love to do when they’re not using their saws to be lumberjacks that are okay.
Actually it’s a pretty sad comment on nations, and it isn’t just the USA, who now don’t know the headship of the Prince of Peace, a.k.a. the Carpenter who came from Heaven. And the present poofteresque Pope isn’t helping on the Roman Catholic end.
Recently, my wife and one of my daughters were after me to saw up and dispose of some scrap wood in our garage. When I procrastinated, they threatened to do it themselves even though neither of them has experience handling power saws or other tools. Fearful that they would act on their threat I decided to deter them by searching the Internet for an accident photo illustrating the dangers of power saws. I really wish I hadn’t seen some of the images that readily popped up in my search.
Ban all circular saws, or even cut to the chase and ban all saws outright.
