#1822 is probably one of the most comprehensive posts

It's a great way to introduce people to Q, to The Storm and the Great Awakening. It lays it all out there for anyone to see. Great place for newbies to start.

Article I, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution states, “The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers.”

Although the Constitution does not require the Speaker to be a Member of the House, all Speakers have been Members.

When a Congress convenes for the first time, each major party conference or caucus nominates a candidate for Speaker. Members customarily elect the Speaker by roll call vote. A Member usually votes for the candidate from his or her own party conference or caucus but can vote for anyone, whether that person has been nominated or not.

To be elected, a candidate must receive an absolute majority of the votes cast—which may be less than a majority of the full House because of vacancies, absentee Members, or Members who vote “present.” If no candidate receives the majority of votes, the roll call is repeated until a majority is reached and the Speaker is elected.

:: Our country is doing better under Trump ::

One major component of the plan is that the USA (*see below) become stronger ^internally^, so that everyday citizens have as few worries as possible. Still some problems to address (Chicago, for example) but look at the economy and unemployment!

The fewer problems ordinary citizens have, the more Trump can work against the DS. Things can get (and have been) “ratcheted-up” as certain “wounds” are healed.

This is using the left’s ploy: “hey, I’m getting my money, so Preezy can do what he wants.”, only now its not welfare.

I keep a big picture view.

RE: America vs. USA. Because of the international baggage associated with it, we really should stop using America as a -nym for The United States of America (ref: Title of DoI & preamble of Constitution); especially us MAGA types. Mexicans, Canadians and MS-13 are “Americans”. I would go so far as to petition Donaldus Magnus to say “May God Bless the United States”. Just like Ronaldus Magnus did.

“...The GOP has not learned how to do that and I am tired of them letting the dems have their way....”
Fully agree with you, newjunkie.
The GOPe = RAT = UniParty = ALL the same.
And this GOP ship ain’t gonna be turned around overnight.
IMHO, Trump is quietly working at taking back the GOP faction from the UniParty by identifying the so-callled GOPe members, singling them out, humiliating them with their now voting records and then campaigning against them by supporting pro-Trump candidates. What’s going on just out of the public eye is gonna take a little time. The UniParty sees it and is going totally apeshite on how to stop him. Short of outright assassination, they can’t stop it. Praying for the POTUS’s safety & security is a high priority with me because these commie freaks are capable of trying anything as we’ve already seen.
Rather than just dragging em out and physically hangin’ em (which is what they really deserve), he’s basically taking em out and politically hangin’ em. He’s already flushed most of em out of hiding already with some of em already resigning. Pass the popcorn.... :) Best election and POTUS evah!!!!

I believe this has beend discussed on FR in the recent past. Speaker isn’t required to be a member of Congress.

The real problem is that impeachment of P&VP can’t be done simultaneously.

“neglects the detail of having Hillary run for Congress first, in order to be Speaker.”

Pretty shore being an elected member of Congress is not a requirement.

Still a pipe dream.

The real problem isn’t simultaneity, its that impeachment can’t be done at all—you need conviction by 2/3 in the Senate, and that isn’t going to happen. Fantasy on fantasy.

But, I didn’t know about the legal possibility of a non-Rep Speaker, unlikely as it would be.

Yeah, that’s how the communist GOPe/RATs/UniParty thinks and works.....
What they aren’t counting on is the uprising from the “unwashed masses” (and probably the military) that would result. At that point, the “gloves come off” and they become the biggest “target rich environment” in recent history.
They’re insane....I put nothing past em.

Your confusing a House action with a Senate action.

Impeachment takes place in the House (the Grand Jury phase). Articles of Impeachment are passed to the Senate who hold trial and vote to acquit or convict.

Impeachment is only a stain on the legacy if Senate votes to acquit.

Welcome to the Q threads!

Most of us here still trust Sessions, Wray, definitely trust Huber.

Most think Lisa Page was turned/freed and has been supplying info to the Trump team.

There is a LOT of disagreement on Rosenstein. I’m pretty firmly in the camp that says he’s a white hat pretending to be a black hat. At the very least, I believe that Trump is using him as part of the plan. The evidence I see points that way. Others interpret that evidence differently.

The whole point of Q is to make us think for ourselves and not be dependent on the lies and propaganda that the MSM feeds us. It’s obviously working! Because we have some lively debates here on various topics, including which players are good guys or bad guys.

I’m willing to change my mind if I see new evidence. I think most here are the same. The disagreement is about how much evidence is sufficient, or how to interpret the evidence. Or maybe what constitutes evidence.

For me, one factor with RR was his behavior when he was questioned by Congress. Some people saw a smirky, cocky black hat. I watched with the thought of “what if he’s a good guy?” in mind. I saw someone who was playing a role and confident that he was on the right side. To me, the smirkiness said “I’m in on this. I’ve got a secret and the secret is that most of you have no idea what I’m doing and BTW a lot of you are going to prison!” Could I be wrong? Of course! But if I’m wrong then RR is unlike the other black hats who are showing signs of panic and desperation. What would set him apart and make him so much more assured? There could be many answers, but for now I’m still sticking with my white hat theory.

Re-read your #91 and realize it is your “confusion” but a simple erroneous statement of “can’t be done”. This conflates Impeachment with Conviction.

Impeachment CAN be done but conviction is highly unlikely, as you said. The “conviction” would be rendered as “Guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.”

No, I’m not confusing it, although maybe I’ve been a bit sloppy with terms.

Impeachment takes place in the House, as you say, and then goes to the Senate for trial. The Grand Jury/Trial analogy is correct.

But, it takes conviction in the Senate to effect removal from office. And, that would be politically impossible, regardless of whether a lockstep Dem majority (also unlikely) voted to impeach and move to trial.
