Fiona Hill (born October 1965) is a British-born American foreign affairs specialist and national security official specializing in the former Soviet Union and Russian and European affairs.
In April 2017, she was appointed by U.S. President Donald Trump as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for European and Russian Affairs on his National Security Council staff.
Fiona Hill is prominently mentioned in this wierd piece by uber-neocon Ben Wittes (Comey’s pal) from 2015.

Michael Caputo commented that the writer (whose identity he said he believes he knows but won’t disclose yet for legal reasons) cleverly planted hints pointing at other members of the dministration to cover up his/her tracks ... so we should be cautious ... having said that, people’s writing style is one key and with so much prior work being on the web ... they sometimes “trip themselves up” unknowingly ... this gal is hardly a “Senior Administration Official”, however ... she’s more like one of the myriad lieutenants working around the “colonels and generals”, to use a military metaphor ...
It would seem so. For someone who is potentially a foreign policy advisor it seems the vetting processes are not up to snuff. Even if she isn't the anonymous writer, she is certainly a security risk.
This isn't the first time that I have been of the opinion that the background checking and screening has been sorely lacking in the Trump WH.

Whoever wrote the anonymous letter seems to have copied the wording of US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman or actually is Jon Huntsman. But the NYT also could have just used Huntsman’s words to divert attention from themselves, which I think is a plausible answer.
I honestly expect if we ever find out, it will be Hillary or a plant, enabled by the Times. Why should I trust a modern newspaper to do anything but lie?

I’m hoping they will begin to move against these people soon. I know there is strategy and timing involved but I’m the type of person who reads the end of the book first and still enjoys reading the entire book. We haven’t been allowed to read the end of this book and there are only two possible endings.
1. The good guys win
2. The bad guys get away and there will be a sequel

Many here on FR predicted this is all gonna blow up in the NY Times and Democrats faces. It's going to sooner than perhaps we think it will.
I agree that it was written by a Times employee, reporter or editor, but I think the quotes could be entirely fabricated. Remember Jayson Blair?
