I have been reading the reports on how great a chance O’Rourke has of knocking Cruz off in the Senate race. I assumed it was the same kind of media buzz that had been ginned up for Abortion Barbie a few years back: a lot of out-of-state money and round-the-clock cheer leading by the lamestream media.
After watching the debate last night I am now convinced that O’Rourke is nothing more than the latest media created sensation. Overwhelmingly positive news coverage in their puff pieces with a lot of Soros type financial backing, all in the hope of knocking off a conservative senator in a conservative state.
O’Rourke struck me as glib but very shallow, running off at the mouth with the standard leftist shibboleths and nostrums. I’m sure O’Rourke will do well in the areas that Abortion Barbie did. However, Cruz, as always, was outstanding in the debate, and I’ll be flabbergasted if he does not put a Texas-sized beatdown on O’Rourke come election night.
The DNC is devolving to the Village People. They have a fake Indian, a fake gladiator, a fake Hispanic, and a fake Vietnam vet. All they need is the construction worker and and they are ready to tour.
I was listening on the radio. The emcee was rude and snarky to Cruz. It was obvious who’s side he was on. The cheering crowd made the whole thing sound like a high school assembly.

Accurate and hysterical. Robert was up there waving his arms like he was trying to fly the Dodo bird he is. And agree, I thought I was seeing mannerisms from obozo , and if so, it probably wasn’t by accident.
Cruz did a great job.
Cruz did very well portraying himself as serious and concerned about this country’s future.

If you get a chance close your eyes when a Beto commercial comes on tv and just listen to it. Very weak nothing burger.
Reminds me of the scene from the Shawshank redemption when Tim Robbins asks Morgan Freeman why they call him Red. The answer is the same as Beta’s should be… Because I’m Irish.

Yes, but fortunately we outnumber them. With the D’s overplaying their hand with the Supreme Court nomination - the Republican base is more motivated than ever to get out there and vote. Trust me, we are quiet, but we all vote. If every single D in Texas turns out to vote, (which is unlikely now that anybody who wants a job has one) there will not be enough of them.
