New Gallup report in effect says 85% of Republicans and Republican leaning Independents look at Republican party favorably which at 45/44 is ahead of Dems favorability.

The combined Dem and Dem leaning Indie numbers come to 80% which is an enthusiasm gap edge for Republicans of 5%. We will not let them destroy our country - PERIOD!

******Styx is a MORON ... I have never seen anything of his that offers much beyond conventional wisdom. He tries to make up for it by long hair pony tails & not wearing shirts ;)******

I think he is a relatively intelligent young guy who went from being an extreme liberal to understanding and caring more about reality, like most of us do as we get older.

Well, here’s Mitch McConnell showing at least some backbone:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoplfrVLBJo

The Twitterverse is slamming him HARD for doing so!!!! And the corrupt Twitter management has pinned two vile statements by BOTH “Krassensteins” attacking Sen. McConnell to the top of the thread!!!!

I hope to see even MORE pushback by Senate Republicans against the despicable Dims, leading to Kavanaugh’s confirmation and a Big Red Wave in November!!!!

The GOPe is afraid of its own shadow. But if I were in their place — having been bullied and lied about by a communist media for 50 years — I’d be pretty demoralized as well.

Still, if you can’t vote for the GOP candidate, at least vote against the RAT candidate.

I did it for McCain, I did it for Romney. I did it for both Bushes.

Finally, in 2016 came a candidate that I could ACTUALLY VOTE FOR!

MAGA! MAGA! MAGA!

It's likely not McConnell and Grassley's fault but one or more of the usual suspects -- Flake, Collins and Murkowski.

Any Republican that doesn't vote to confirm Kavanaugh needs to see his or her career terminated.

Styx is great. Why? Because he reaches an unconventional audience. I have turned several young millenials on to him, and they find his style very convincing. Basically he argues like a smarmy liberal, only with more conservative/libertarian ideas. He is a great asset to the cause. Not perfect, but I guarantee you he changes minds to our side.

Now, how would YOU get those two copperheads to support Judge Kavanaugh?

Electroshock treatment to the testicles?

I think Kavanaugh is handling himself well.

I think both Collins and Murkowski will have to support him.

He is simply an extraordinary good man.

I am close to 100% that your post was read on 710 KNUS in Denver today.

I was driving and right after the 3:30 news break, Chuck says (paraphrasing). I am reading from free republic...”the republicans are tired of winning...” he never gave credit to the post originator, but I think it was YOU!!

Nothing worse than whiners, groaners, moaners, complainers and malcontents.

That's what I'm tired of.

Get a life.

My guess is there is a lot of stroking of senators like Flake and Collins. The extra time is beneficial to the Republicans because if you don’t have the votes, it’s an embarrassment all around. My assumption is former President Bush is behind the scenes advocating on Kavanaugh’s behalf.

While I don’t believe it to be intentional, Kavanaugh has the potential of uniting the Republicans. When’s the last time you’ve seen McConnell, Graham etc. get this vocal?

Most are 2. Some are both.

They have no problem being vicious toward conservatives and nationalists.

First, Rush Limbaugh, and now Tucker Carlson, are complaining that RINOs are mishandling the allegations against Kavanaugh so badly that patriots are not going to reelect RINOs in upcoming elections.

H O W E V E R …

Patriots have known for quite awhile that we’ve been dealing with an anti-Trump, obstructionist Congress left over from the lawless Obama administration, and that we need to elect as many new patriot lawmakers as we can in the upcoming elections to protect Pres. Trump.

In other words, now that election day is right around the corner, RINOs who survived pro-Trump patriot wrath in the primaries are arguably working in cahoots with Democrats by mismanaging Democratic allegations of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh, RINOs arguably trying to take advantage of the upcoming elections to lose their seats to Democrats in order to stop Trump.

In fact, patriots will surely recall that Democrats had previously pulled the sexual misconduct card against members of their own party in an attempt to bring down Trump.

9 members of Congress who were forced out of office by sexual misconduct scandals

If such is the case, then patriots must protect Trump by actually reelecting these anti-Trump RINOs in the upcoming elections, then primary them in the 2020 elections.

Also, I still have a problem with the constitutionally guaranteed one vote for each senator versus Senate subcommittees like the Committee on the Judiciary that Kavanaugh is dealing with.

"Article I, Section 3, Clause 1: The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, chosen by the Legislature thereof, (See Note 3) for six Years; and each Senator shall have one Vote [emphasis added]."

In other words, it is unconstitutional imo, for a minority of senators to effectively vote no on Kavanaugh by dragging out the consideration of Kavanaugh allegations, nullifying possible Senate majority confirmation votes by doing so.

Corrections, insights welcome.

Are committees even constitutional? Some might argue that the Senate's work load requires committees to pre-filter legislation. But if the Tenth Amendment were enforced, the Senate (like the rest of the federal government) would have almost nothing to do (at least in peacetime); so there would be no work load.

Spot on snarkpup!

Given the Constitution’s guarantee of one vote per senator, I don’t see where Senate subcommittees are constitutional. (House subcommittees ok imo.)

But there’s bigger congressional problems than unconstitutional (imo) Senate subcommittees.

More specifically, note that the congressional record shows that constitutional lawmaker Rep. John Bingham had put it this way about the fed’s very limited power to establish domestic policy.

”... the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Federal Constitution, is in the States, and not in the Federal Government [emphases added].” —Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe, 1866. (See about middle of 3rd column.)

In fact, military issues aside, considering that one of the more “significant” of the very few powers that the Founding States expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds to dictate domestic policy is to run the US Mail Service (1.8.7), most other federal domestic policy based on state powers that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification feds have stolen from the states, the key question concerning congressional subcommittees where domestic policy is concerned is this.

How many subcommittees does it take to run the US Mail Service?

I say none, no subcommittees needed.

This is why patriots need to elect new patriot lawmakers who will support Pres. Trump in politically “forcing” Congress to surrender state powers that Congress has stolen from the states back to the states.
