Sometimes even the best parents can’t keep a toddler from crying. That’s life. People need to suck it up, or charter a plane. It’s not as if they can’t hear the crying toddler in the cheap seats, anyway.
And overcrowding. And less legroom. And less comfy seats. And baggage restrictions.
So many reasons to not fly anymore.
Excellent idea! (I think some already do).

Hi, Flaming Conservative-! I think the biggest issue is when a child is having an ‘anger’ fit. It’s like in a restaurant you can tell a tired child from a hungry child from an angry child. And then there is indeed, the spoilt-whose-mood-can-I-ruin-today child. Most likely that child is the one causing the most issues.
You dont know who has lost a son, or a father, or whose business is collapsing, who needs prep time to focus on a presentation or a business plan, tense before an important meeting, whose nerves are frayed from one of a myriad of grave stresses. You’re probably describing a lot of folks in the cheap seats, too.
“Stop reacting like a stupid snowflake.”
You’re the one who is apparently offended by a joke.
“As a parent, its inconsiderate to not appreciate the reasons other people are on your flight.”
—
The reasons we are on the flight is to get from Point A to Point B.
Period.
.
Especially clever?
Is first class more expensive because it offers more comfort, or is first class a high-priced segregated section for the rich and famous, and they expect a certain level of service that goes with it?
I'm leaning towards the latter, and so their bratty children can cry with them just like our bratty children cry with us.

“Sometimes even the best parents cant keep a toddler from crying.”
See that is the problem. Majority of videos loaded up are parents not doing a damn thing. They don’t even try.
I don’t fly but I’ve personally seen this at Wal Mart. The kid is screaming in the cart and mom is on the freaking smartphone doing heaven only knows what just ignoring the screaming like she does not hear it. It’s a pain to hear that in Wal Mart so I can imagine what that is like on an airplane.
No I don’t have to “suck it up” if I pay for first class for anything I want peace and QUIET! That means you will shut that kid up or you will not fly. When I grew up children should be seen and not heard. Today’s parents don’t know how to parent. If the kid can’t be seen and not heard then don’t take him out in public and don’t annoy the rest of us.
Oh and by the way, these children who misbehave out in public? They are NOT helping the pro life cause as seen in the video below.

Nope,just realistic.
The plane is a means of transportation,no more,no less.
.
True.
I think of these things, because I hated the cattle car experience and it made me board already mad. These thoughts calmed me. But, I will not fly, now, and don’t have to, thankfully.
But, if I paid for FIRST CLASS, I would have freaked out with out of control undisciplined kids and undisciplined parents, and I would have ceased flying even sooner than I actually did. %:D
But the reverse snobbery ( posters trashing anyone who makes $5 more than they do ), anti-women, foul language, and now anti-baby and toddler posts, here, are making this place look terrible; not to mention POing off other posters.
Difficult... I’ve flown first and biz class with babies and toddlers, you as the parent have to remain VERY attentive to their needs. My kids were very well adapted to travel and never cried, not once. I used pacifiers BECAUSE we traveled so much, and was known to carry twenty in my purse so as never to have to deal with not having one handy.
I have been on flights, both with my children and later without... with other peoples screaming children. They tended to be young parents who seemed clueless, mothers with three or more youngsters and a father who was sleeping. I’ve offered them unopened pacifiers ( when my children were still young enough they were using them) No one ever took me up on it... the answers were usually, Oh we don’t want them to use pacifiers, they should learn to soothe themselves -_-
Look this is how bad it has gotten with toddlers on a plane!
This happened a week ago! It was uploaded on the facebook page “Passenger Shaming”
Now do you understand why people don’t want to travel with other people’s babies/toddlers??? If you pay for a first class ticket do you want to put up this this?

Mom lets toddler use potty in middle of aisle on airplane
A woman letting her toddler use a potty in the aisle of a plane in front of shocked passengers has sparked a fierce debate about its rights and wrongs.
The unidentified mother was pictured crouching down as her child uses the potty just feet away from other passengers.
The photograph was posted on the passengershaming Instagram account, dedicated to the gross behavior of travelers.
After being spotted by cabin crew and asked to use the vacant toilet the woman reportedly replied: I dont give a st.
Passengershaming said obviously not shaming or identifying the child. But this literal st is happening out there, folks.
The picture has now been seen thousands of times and aroused a fierce criticism from some though others have expressed sympathy.
Disgusting and so unsanitary were some of the comments with one user comparing it to having your child go to the bathroom in the middle of a restaurant.
Another user said the woman showed no respect for others and another simply called her a bh.
Others wanted to know if the potty would be cleaned in the lavatory sink where other passengers wash their hands.
How the mum had managed to bring the potty on the plane was on the mind of other users.
How did she pack that??? one asked.
One post read: Just dont understand people .like what part of that seemed ok? Made for an entertaining post though .
But while there was condemnation, many were sympathetic to the mom.
Hats up for every mother doesnt give a st about rules labeling and everything else when it comes for the health or the comfort of their kids!, said one user.
She is a great mom and you will understand this act when you practice motherhood right!
And another posted: When you gotta go..you gotta go!
One mom said it was hard to change diapers in plane toilets.
Not that I would do this, but it is impossible to change a diaper on a plane. The shelf you lay your kid on is very small and unsafe even had to use the top of the toilet closed.
Id love for these a-sholes bhing to go rub their faces in an airplane toilet.
Passenger Shaming which also has a Facebook page and Twitter account, was founded five years ago by former flight attendant Shawn Kathleen.
Gussy it up all you want with big expensive seats and warm bowls of mixed nuts, but you’re still using mass transit.
I understand that “first class” travellers don’t want to deal with the realities of mass transit, but one of the most important realitites of mass air transit is that within the span of just a few hours you get magically transported across continents reliably and safely. For most of human history this was not only impossible to accomplish, but impossible to imagine. Somehow, this amazing feat has become not just an entitlement, but one that some people feel entitled to deny to others based not on safety or ability to afford access, but mere annoyance.
Yeah a toddler hollered in your vicinity for a few hours. You also travelled thousands of miles in those few hours and most likely landed within minutes of the predicted arrival time in such a predictable fashion that you could arrange for a loved one to meet you at the gate with only a few minutes of disruption to their schedule. It’s great stuff.
One word.....NO!!! 3 words NO FREAKING WAY!!
A 21st Century problem if ever there was one. The wealthier our society becomes, the less it values, or even tolerates the presence of babies. As far as their behavior on airplanes go, babies don't cry from lack of parental discipline. They cry because they are in pain.
Ever fly with a drunk in the next seat?
If the ticket is paid, then the seat goes to the highest bidder.
Sheila Jackson-Lee might bump you off the next flight to Houston.
