Only if they’re allowed to have the complementary alcohol.
They just need the ability to run anesthesia through those oxygen masks.

All the losers that complain about children
Have never had them
Its obvious
No one whose ever had a 2 yr old would EVER complain
Never mind write a frikking article about it

People who’ve complained about children have never had them? Wow. Truthoverpower, that is an extremely broad statement.
I’ve had children and have been to the very last nerve with one of my children stamping on it. And I’m fairly sure there are other humans who have experienced the moment of “what got me here?” phase of Child-rearing.
Perhaps you’ve never had a child and or lashing out in frustration in what you believe to be horrible people. Or you’ve lost a child and are in deep sorrow and anger at those who feel have no right to voice an opinion.
For either of those to be correct, I would grieve for you. For humans to be stretched to their very last nerve doesn’t mean they do not love children.
I’m not saying there are people who simply do not like children. That’s a horse of a different colour. I’m only addressing the issue you present of assuming parents are not humans with finite limits.
“A 21st Century problem if ever there was one. The wealthier our society becomes, the less it values, or even tolerates the presence of babies. As far as their behavior on airplanes go, babies don’t cry from lack of parental discipline. They cry because they are in pain. “
Babies are one thing but toddlers? Okay that is another story. Like that video I posted to Boogieman? Okay that child should not have been allowed to run, scream, climb on seats for 8 freaking hours!
Had that been us when we were kids? Our parents would have said “I’ll give you something to cry about!” had we not stopped the bad behavior it would have been off to the bathroom and got our butts busted!
That mom did NOTHING! Like most parents today they do nothing! That is why people don’t tolerate babies and toddlers! Like I said in another post I’ll be at Wal Mart the baby is crying and mom is on her damn smartphone! I’m gonna tell you right now I hate the invention of that thing! People not paying attention to their children, driving, walking you name it because of that thing.
It’s parents not even trying that gives all small children/babies a bad name. Then you and others want to be self righteous saying society don’t care, no society does like children just WELL BEHAVED ONES.
babies are not welcomed when you try to sleep or do business or have an adult conversation
“And dont forget the toy Ive got packed in my purse for such purposes as to be given away! I might have a hard time doing that with some adults. LOL”
Back in the day showing a jerk a set of brass knuckles usually worked, but they won’t get thru TSA now.

The woman is a disgusting, low class, disgusting, horror!
The cabin crew should have interveined immediately!
It is NOT "impossible" nor difficult to change a baby's diaper in a plane's bathroom; at least it didn't used to be.
THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE ADULTS!
Way back when, men didn't grope sleeping women and children, on planes; but sadly, that has become common now too.
So should we now ban men or women from flying?
A thoughtful parent WILL come armed with a bottle or a teething ring, etc.,to pop in a baby's mouth the minute the engines begin to rev up. The baby sucks/chomps on the thing and the ears keep popping, relieving the pressure and so the baby doesn't scream from pain; nor causes pain for others!
You're pushing the definition of toddler in my opinion. Toddlers as I define them aren't proper walkers. They can't climb up on furniture and they certainly can't run. And the article isn't dealing with this behavior anyway. The article is only addressing the crying from babies and seated toddlers and whether they should be banned because their crying can irritate people in First Class.
There is no amount of parenting skill or discipline that will keep a 6 to 13 month old child from crying that is in pain from a pressurizing or depressurizing aircraft cabin.
Babies are dynamic creatures. Some are more sensitive to air travel that others. Sometimes that stuff works, and sometimes it doesn't.
You can see it everywhere; not just on a plane and most assuredly NOT just in first class!
And what's your answer to the now more and more common groping and other criminal sexual activities on planes now?
My son was flying one time and behind a family with two little girls.
The older girl about 5, was yawning up a storm and hanging onto her daddy’s leg.
The dad says “Aw, are you sleepy? Did someone slip half a meltonin in your juice?”
My son burst out laughing.
You could buy them a drink. And have them make it high test. :)
Bliss.

Oi! metmom, never even crossed my mind! And that’s another reason I like this site so much! I was never one for thinking outside the box and your idea is a great one! LOL
Well, considering how expensive the drinks are on flights, I can see why someone is hesitant, but sometimes the peace is worth it.
