You are not only correct in legal theory, you are also correct in historic fact.

Even when abortion is considered, rightly, a criminal act prosecutable by law, procedures which are genuinely lifesaving to the mother have never historically been prosecuted or never resulted in a conviction. For instance, hysterectomy of a pregnant uterus in the case of uterine cancer; or removal of the Fallopian tube in the case of ectopic pregnancy. Life-saving double effect is a successful defense --- historically always has been.

Just think how much higher Hitler's death camps numbers could have been if he had embraced the American demoncrat policies of mass murder!

He was a piker compared to the 50% of the America citizens who have butchered more human beings than either Hitler or Stalin...
