A German friend of mine grew up in Mexico city and he says there everyone who has sense have barred windows and a dog that will tear you to pieces. They know they cannot rely on the police or the military.

This is true in Honduras as well. In Tegucigalpa almost all houses have steel barred windows and walls with spikes, broken glass and razor wire. It’s getting better now that Hernandez has instituted the Policia Militar, but still the people have few guns for home protection, and the PM aren’t likely to get there in time.
Incidentally, the founder of their party--whose principles they have now abandoned--purchased Louisiana to serve as a buffer between the Anglo & Hispanic peoples in North America. (An American Immigration Policy), so the Democrats once recognized the importance of borders, before they were taken over by doctrinaire Leftists in the last century.

Yes, and those are all good things. I was talking in terms of illegal immigration and changing our laws to prevent illegals arriving at our border being allowed in & catch & release and so forth related to illegal immigration.

Didn’t know that about Honduras. I think it is similar in Venezuela as well - or it was 15 or so years ago - I can imagine now it must be even worse.
